Yeovil Town have confirmed they have re-signed Swansea defender Liam Shephard on a six-month loan deal.
The 21-year-old is heading back to Somerset for a third loan spell after impressing for them twice in the two previous campaigns.
In 2014-15, he made 20 appearances and was also named Yeovil’s Young Player Of The Year, before he then returned last season, in March, featuring in six games.
Glovers manager Darren Way is pleased to have brought the youngster back to Huish Park, saying: “Liam is someone I know really well as someone who has been an integral part of this club.
“He came back to help me last year during one of the most important periods of this club’s history so I know he has a high level of commitment to us.”
“I’m sure he will be a fantastic signing for the club and I’m excited to have him in my back four.”
Shephard has yet to make a senior first-team appearance for the Swans but is highly-rated at the Liberty Stadium and still has a year left on his current contract.
