‘Worried about Marcus Rashford!’ – Manchester United fans express concern as England star is snubbed by Jose Mourinho

Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Eric Bailly, Manchester United have a number of new stars. But what about Marcus Rashford?

Red Devils fans were left fearing the worst for the England star, who was an unused substitute in Friday’s Premier League victory over Southampton.

Jose Mourinho has been criticised for his youth policy in previous years and when he was installed as manager at Old Trafford, fans questioned the futures of Rashford, Jesse Lingard and co.

The 18-year-old, who only burst onto the scene in February, played 18 times under Louis van Gaal before going to Euro 2016 with England. He came on as a substitute against Leicester City in the Community Shield, but is yet to be used in the club’s Premier League campaign.

He started the 2-0 win over Southampton on the bench, Mourinho instead choosing to start Ibrahimovic and Martial. The Portuguese boss then sent on Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Ander Herrera and Chris Smalling.
