Sunderland loan star Adnan Januzaj misses Saturday’s the home clash with West Brom due to an ankle injury.
The Manchester United winger suffered an ankle problem in Saturday’s loss to Crystal Palace at the Stadium of Light and will be out for at least six weeks.
The 21-year-old underwent a scan on Tuesday, with the results confirming he suffered ligament damage and now faces a spell on the sidelines alongside long-term absentees Vito Mannone, Sebastian Larsson and Fabio Borini.
Goalkeeper Mannone injured an elbow in training, forward Borini damaged a groin taking a free-kick, while knee trouble has sidelined midfielder Larsson.
Wahbi Khazri, who has been relegated to the bench under boss David Moyes, could be set for a rare start while Duncan Watmore is also pushing to be named in the starting XI.
