Sunderland winger Emanuele Giaccherini has plenty of suitors in Italy but his dream move would be to Chelsea, according to his agent.
Torino and Fiorentina are the frontrunners for his signature but his agent, Furio Valcareggi, says his client would find a move to Stamford Bridge a dream come true as he would be linking up with former Italy coach Antonio Conte.
Giaccherini made 43 appearances over two years at the Stadium of Light before spending last season on loan at Bologna and, despite an excellent Euro 2016 with the Azzurri, a move away from Wearside is a certainty.
“Unfortunately we don’t [have an agreement with Torino],” Valcareggi told Gazzetta Dello Sport. “There has been contact and interest.
“Torino have taken note of the costs and how the transfer would have to be done and now they are considering it. But this also applies to Fiorentina and Bologna, who are gathering information before moving on.
“If Chelsea were to call? Chelsea would be a dream.”
