Hull and Burnley are among a host of clubs being linked with a loan move for Manchester United striker James Wilson.
Wilson struggled for game time at Old Trafford last season and was sent out on loan to Championship outfit Brighton, where he bagged five goals as they just missed out on promotion.
The striker’s first-team opportunities are unlikely to improve now that Jose Mourinho is in charge and there is a very good chance he will be loaned out again this season.
Aston Villa and Birmingham are keen to take him to the Championship, but there is also plenty of interest from the Premier League with Burnley, who are 4/5 with Titanbet to be relegated, Hull and Middlesbrough all said to be keen.
It has been suggested that Boro are favourites due to Mourinho’s relationship with manager Aitor Karanka, but it could all come down to who can offer the player more first-team football.
