Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is confident his side will be able to challenge for silverware in the coming campaign.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is due to fall out of contract next summer and the Frenchman admits his future with the club depends on how they fare in the season ahead.
Wenger’s position is likely to be the subject of speculation throughout the campaign, as he has confirmed he does not expect any decision to be made until the season is over, but England international Wilshere says he has seen no change in his manager.
The midfielder is convinced Arsenal can challenge for titles this year and he believes Wenger is as determined as ever to add to the Arsenal trophy cabinet.
“I have not seen anything different in him,” he told Sky Sports. “I see the same hunger, if not even more.
“For me, he has been great over the years and he continues to be. I think he shows that with his hunger every year. He just keeps going each year.
“I think he really feels like he can win and do something special with this team.”
Arsenal open their Premier League account with a home game against Liverpool on Sunday and punters may wish to use their free bet to back the Gunners to kick off the campaign with a victory.
