Willian is looking forward to next season as he believes Chelsea will challenge for titles under incoming coach Antonio Conte.
The Blues have made a torrid defence of their Premier League crown this season and currently lie in mid-table, 29 points adrift of leaders Leicester with just four matches of the campaign left to play.
The west London club, who are 500/1 to secure a top-six finish this season with Titanbet, will end up without a trophy, but Brazil international Willian, who has been one of the team’s few bright sparks throughout the campaign, believes they can challenge once again when Conte takes charge this summer.
He said: “When we started this season we wanted to win the title, to win the league again, to win everything. But we didn’t. I think now we know what we have to do next season. We want to finish this season quickly because we want to start the next one better, and next season win some titles.”
The 27-year-old hopes he can also maintain his own form under Conte, who will take over the reins at Stamford Bridge following the conclusion of this summer’s European Championship.
He added: “I want to stay at that level, I want to always show my quality on the pitch and always play better. I want to improve so I hope next season I will play better than this season.”
