Villarreal’s CEO Fernando Roig Nogueroles has revealed that the club are willing to negotiate with Manchester United.
He told Marca, “There is a team that is very interested and if the three parties agree there will be no problems.
“If the player wants to leave and Manchester want to pay, we will reach an agreement.”
The ex-Espanyol starlet has a £31.3m release clause within his contract, but it’s not yet known whether the Red Devils will activate this.
Bailly played 25 games for the La Liga side last season – his first full campaign with Villarreal.
