When does the Premier League transfer window close? The dates and times you need to know

How much have Premier League clubs spent so far?

It looks like it could be a record season for cash spent.

The 20 clubs in the English top flight have currently splashed out around £870m – with £89m of that coming from the world transfer of Paul Pogba to Manchester United.

Last season over £1bn was spent in the combined summer and winter windows – and the Premier League looks on course to beat that tally in 2016/17.

When does the next transfer window open?

After the August trading session closes, the next transfer window opens on January 1 and closes on February 1 at 11pm.
