West Ham transfer news: Hammers complete signing of winger Sofiane Feghouli from Valencia

West Ham have completed the signing of Algerian winger Sofiane Feghouli.

talkSPORT revealed on Monday that the Hammers were close to landing the 26-year-old, who will be a free agent  on July 1 after rejecting a new deal with Valencia.

Now the Hammers have confirmed Feghouli has agreed to make the move to Upton Park, penning a three-year contract.

“I am very happy to sign for the Hammers and for Slaven Bilic,” he told the club’s official website..

“The history of the club is important for me in my decision.

“Playing in the Premier League is very important for players in their careers and I am happy to play for the Hammers.”

Paris-born Feghouli has been capped 35 times for Algeria and was a regular for Valencia after joining from Grenoble in 2010.

He leaves Los Che having scored 42 goals in 243 appearances for the Spanish top-flight club.
