West Ham have opened talks with Palermo over the signing of full-back Achraf Lazaar.
The 24-year-old Moroccan has entered the final year of his contract at the Italian club, who are desperate not to lose him for nothing in June.
And now, according to reports in Italy, the Hammers are working hard on doing a deal to land him this summer.
Lazaar has caught the eye during his 73 appearances since joining Palermo two years ago and West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is said to be an admirer.
Now Bilic is hoping the Morocco international will agree to join his squad as they kick off their first season at the Olympic Stadium.
