Slaven Bilic has confessed his concern over the form of West Ham United as his side suffered a fifth defeat of the campaign.
The Hammers were beaten 3-0 by Southampton at the London Stadium, with Charlie Austin, Dusan Tadic and James Ward-Prowse securing victory for the Saints.
Following the defeat, Mark Noble spoke of his belief that it can’t get any worse, describing his team as ‘laughable and not good enough’.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Bilic said: “It’s very hard to take [our recent defeats to Southampton, West Bromwich Albion and Watford].
“I am worried. I’m not going to lie to you, of course I’m worried.
“But what can you do? You have to dig in and work hard.”
West Ham finished seventh in the Premier League last term, only four points behind Manchester United and Manchester City.
But the Hammers have been a shadow of the team that proved a nuisance to the Premier League’s juggernauts throughout the previous campaign.
And Bilic admits his side have weakened in each department: “Every single thing that was really good last season is not good this season.
“And everything that was average last season is now bad, we have to admit it, and this is the reason we are now losing.”
