West Ham ace Michail Antonio reveals unusual way Slaven Bilic celebrated last-minute win

Playing the first couple of games of the season in an unfamiliar defensive role, the 26-year-old struggled to make an impact on the game with his bulldozing offensive quality.

Antonio, who scored 9 goals for the Hammers last season, gave away a penalty against Chelsea in the team’s season-opener at Stamford Bridge and missed an open goal in the following Europa League tie against Astra Giurgiu.

Finally admitting defeat on his positional experiment, manager Slaven Bilic moved Antonio back on to his preferred right-wing and immediately reaped the benefits.

The former Forest man rose high to bury a Gokhan Tore cross in the 85th minute with a bullet header to give West Ham their first ever win at the London Stadium – the only highlight in an otherwise dour match.
