Mark Noble scored twice as West Ham comfortably beat West Brom 3-0 at The Hawthorns.
The home side started the brighter, with youngster Jonathan Leko, on his full debut, impressing as he set up a chance for Craig Gardner, who forced Adrian into a good save.
Slaven Bilic’s side took the lead in the 34th minute when Dimitri Payet found some space on the left and his cross found the head of Cheikhou Kouyate, and he did the rest for his fifth goal of the season.
It was two on the stroke of half-time when Kouyate turned provider. He picked out the run of Noble and the Hammers captain poked the ball past Ben Foster.
The Baggies brought on Saido Berahino in the second half to try and get a goal back and it nearly paid off when he found some space in the area and fired a shot just wide of the post.
However, it was game over in the 79th minute when Payet picked out Andy Carroll and the striker’s cushioned header was superbly volleyed into the roof of the net by Noble.
