Sandro is determined to show West Brom he is worthy of a permanent deal after completing 90 minutes for the first time at Sunderland.
The Brazilian midfielder joined from Queens Park Rangers on loan until the end of the season in January but had struggled to finish a game before last weekend’s encounter due to fitness issues.
However, the former Tottenham man impressed on his first full game for the Baggies, scrapping hard to help Albion earn a point in the goalless draw at the Stadium of Light.
Sandro feels he has improved since he started working under boss Tony Pulis and believes there is more to come in terms of his performance as he bids to earn a permanent deal at the Hawthorns.
Sandro told the Express & Star: “I feel very happy to play 90 minutes and the way we played. It was my first 90 minutes here and it was the kind of game that I like. I can show my passion and do my tackles. I feel very happy.”
He added: “I feel good, but there is more to come. My physical state is improving.”
