West Brom are said to be interested in Sheffield Wednesday defender Tom Lees and are ready to offer £7million.
The 25-year-old has been a mainstay in the Owls backline for the majority of the season and has formed a solid central defensive partnership with Glen Loovens.
Lees, who moved to Hillsborough from Leeds United in 2014, is said to have caught the eye of Albion boss Tony Pulis, who is currently drawing up a list of potential transfer targets heading into the summer.
Pulis has already been linked with several defensive reinforcements but some of those reports appear to be wide of the mark when it comes to talent based in Europe, with Pulis eager to buy British when it comes to adding to his backline.
Former England Under-21 international Lees would therefore appear to fit the bill but it could take a significant offer to persuade Wednesday to part company with the defender given the financial backing the South Yorkshire club now has.
