Medics gave Brady a thorough check-up on the pitch after he was floored in a crunching collision with West Brom’s Craig Dawson.
He carried on briefly but was forced out of the action after alerting docs to an eye problem.
Brady, though, was a knockout out in more ways than one with victory ending an 11-game winless run and, amazingly, Norwich’s first clean sheet on the road all season.
Boss Alex Neil revealed Brady will be checked out over the next 48 hours and said: “He landed on his neck and his left eye got blurred in terms of vision.
“But this win was crucial. The next games will dictate how big it becomes but it’s up to us to go and keep ourselves in the league.”
West Brom boss Tony Pulis hit by a £3.5million bill in his dispute with old club Crystal Palace, was in no mood to linger long in the press conference room.
But Pulis stayed long enough to say: “It was a really poor game. We didn’t do anything. They didn’t do anything. Their goal was such a poor goal. We have played well over the past few months so that was really disappointing.”
The Baggies edged it in the halfchance stakes in a dour opening first 45 minutes.
