Arsenal could step up their attempts to sign midfielder Arda Turan after reports claimed Barcelona have put him on the transfer list.
Barca have already spent heavily this summer, and with Valencia star Andre Gomes also on the verge of signing, the Catalan giants are willing to move players on.
Turan is one obvious candidate and reports claim that Bara have opened the door for the Turkey international to move on, if their valuation is met.
Turan’s agent Ahmet Bulut has stated that his client is happy at the Nou Camp, but the decision could be taken out of his hands and the chance to head to the Emirates Stadium, is sure to appeal.
“The interest [in Arda] is normal but the rumours saying he is leaving Barcelona are false, he is happy at the club,” Bulut said when quizzed about the player’s future.
Turan does have four years remaining on his current deal and would cost in the region of £20million, with Chelsea also thought to be interested.
