Arsene Wenger has refused to rule out an Arsenal charge for the Premier League title after Saturday’s win at Everton.
The Gunners secured a 2-0 victory at Goodison Park in Saturday’s early kick-off thanks to first-half goals from Danny Welbeck and Alex Iwobi.
However, Arsenal remain 11 points behind leaders Leicester, albeit with a game in hand, after the Foxes saw off Crystal Palace on Saturday.
However, Wenger feels the title isn’t out of his side’s reach just yet.
He told the club’s official website: “It was vital [to win] today. If we didnÂ’t win today we were certainly [out of the title race] completely.
“We are ready for a fight and we have to keep the attitude and performance we showed today and hope everyone comes back from the international break in good shape.”
