Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has refused to confirm if he is interested in signing Leicester midfielder N’Golo Kante this summer.
The Frenchman has played an integral part in the Foxes unprecedented Premier League triumph during the current campaign, featuring in all but one of their top-flight matches since joining from Caen last summer.
The 25-year-old’s form also saw him earn his first call-up into the France squad in March and Gunners boss Wenger admits that he is a huge admirer of the combative central midfielder.
He said: “I think he will play in the European Championships and for me he was one of the players of the year in the Premier League.”
Wenger refused to confirm whether he is interested in signing Kante during the summer, but he is convinced there will a number of suitors should Leicester make the midfielder available for transfer.
He added: “I cannot tell you anything now. He is under contract with Leicester. I am sure if Leicester want to sell him, they will find some buyers.”
