Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was slightly disappointed after drawing 1-1 with Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
The Reds had the better chances in the first half and they were denied an early goal when Michel Vorm pulled off a great save from Philippe Coutinho’s close-range effort.
Joel Matip also glanced a header off the bar for the visitors but they did manage to open the scoring on the brink of half-time when James Milner converted a penalty following Erik Lamela’s foul on Roberto Firmino.
Spurs pushed for an equaliser after the break and they managed to level the scores when Danny Rose crashed in an effort after finding space at the back post.
Liverpool will be disappointed they were unable to hold on for the win and Klopp admits he has mixed emotions after taking a point away from White Hart Lane.
“I still feel a little bit disappointed when we play like this because we could have won the game. We made one mistake in and around the goal for their goal,” he said.
“We had chances and even one in the 92nd minute. This game showed again what we can do and how we can play.
“I wish we could have won it. We have to accept the point and that’s not a problem because it’s Tottenham.”
