22 May

Pep Guardiola has officially ended his reign as manager of Bayern Munich, bowing out with a double to his name in the 2015/16 season.

The German giants won the Bundesliga by 10 points, with Borussia Dortmund in second place, and they dealt another blow to the Westphalia club on Saturday evening – beating them in the DFP-Pokal final.

The game went all the way to penalties, with Douglas Costa netting the decisive spot-kick to secure the win.

Celebrations ensued, and Guardiola broke down in tears with his staff and playing squad knowing that he had coached his final game.

The 45-year-old is now set to link up with Manchester City, having agreed a deal to take charge at the Etihad back in February, and fans of all clubs are excited to see him in the Premier League.

But whilst waiting for the new season to start, you can watch the celebrations from Guardiola’s final Bayern victory above…
