Check out this disallowed goal from Mario Balotelli.
If Liverpool fans wondered what they may be missing this season, the AC Milan striker proved how ‘handy’ he can be in the penalty box.
The 25-year-old, on a season-long loan from Anfield, put in an impressive performance in the 2-1 defeat to Juventus, despite failing to get on the score sheet.
Just minutes into the second half, Balotelli reacted quickest to follow up after Gianluigi Buffon parried. He sent a close-range shot crashing against the crossbar and, as Juventus’ Andrea Barzagli went to make the clearance, Balotelli dived to head the ball into the back of the net.
Instead, he used his hand to palm the ball home and referee Daniele Orsato had no choice but to book the Italian.
