Manchester City fans learnt on Friday that Sergio Aguero will miss the Manchester derby as he has to serve a three game ban for elbowing West Ham defender Winston Reid.
Despite the Argentine striker being one of the best goalscorers in the Premier League, City will not be too downhearted with the news – seeing as they have a player ready to step into the first-team fold and prove himself.
Kelechi Iheanacho has already shown he has an amazing eye for goal and the potential to replace Aguero in the coming years, and the 19-year-old looks set to start upfront against local rivals Manchester United next weekend.
And he warmed up for that game in incredible style – scoring a top class strike whilst on international duty with Nigeria.
The starlet netted the long-ranger bullet 10 minutes from time to hand the Super Eagles a vital 1-0 win over Tanzania in the AFCON qualifiers.
