Aston Villa suffered an embarrassing defeat on Wednesday evening, as the Championship club were comprehensively outplayed by League Two side Luton Town on the way to a 3-1 defeat.
Despite going ahead through Jordan Ayew, the visitors failed to capitalise on their early dominance, and were eventually pegged back when Jake Gray equalised after a great team move.
Cam McGeehan then put the hosts in the lead, and the embarrassment became worse later on, as Luton grabbed a third goal – thanks to Jores Okore.
The Villa defender somehow managed to pass the ball past Mark Bunn into his own net, having already seen Micah Richards fall over in the box to gift possession to Luton.
