France secured a 3-2 victory over the Netherlands on Tuesday evening, as they continue preparations for the European Championship this summer.
Their opponents failed to qualify for the tournament, but the Dutch still put up a fight on the day on which they were remembering legend Johan Cruyff.
Antoine Griezmann gave Les Bleus the lead after just 6 minutes, before Arsenal star Olivier Giroud doubled the lead with a classy first-time finish from inside the box.
The Dutch fought back to 2-2 through Luuk de John and Ibrahim Afellay, but Didier Deschamps’ men prevailed, as Blaise Matuidi netted the winner minutes from time.
