Arsenal completed the signing of Takuma Asano at the beginning of July, surprising the world of football by moving for a player with no real pedigree.
He has only recently passed the 50-game mark for J1 League club Sanfrecce, and has won just five caps for Japan.
Still, Arsene Wenger must see potential in the 21-year-old, and given the Frenchman’s record with youth development, he is to be trusted.
Asano has remained at Sanfrecce as his transfer is finalised, and he celebrated his move to North London by scoring twice against Kashima Antlers on Saturday.
