Midfielder Joe Ledley has given Wales a Euro 2016 fitness worry after coming off during Crystal Palace’s 2-1 win over Stoke City.

Ledley, 29, replaced the injured Yohan Cabaye for the second half but limped off 11 minutes later.

Palace travel to Southampton for their final Premier League game next Sunday before facing Manchester United in the FA Cup final on 21 May.

Wales will name a provisional 28-man squad on Monday, 9 May.

They will have a pre-tournament training camp in the Algarve in Portugal beginning on 23 May.

Manager Chris Coleman will announce his 23-man squad for the European Championship on Tuesday, 31 May.

Forward Gareth Bale will miss Real Madrid’s crucial La Liga home game against Valencia on Sunday because of a knee strain.

A Real statement said Bale has “a joint strain in his right knee”.
