Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris is out of Saturday’s game at home to Crystal Palace with a hamstring injury so Michel Vorm will start.
Lloris, who came off in the first half against Everton last weekend, is expected to be out for around four weeks but will be replaced by Vorm.
Boss Mauricio Pochettino is said to be satisfied with Vorm as his back-up option although there are reports he is interested in Espanyol’s highly-rated keeper Pau Lopez and a bid in the region of £5million could be tabled for him this week.
Meanwhile, Son Heung-min has returned from the Olympic Games following South Korea’s defeat to Honduras and will be assessed on Friday, although he’s unlikely to feature against the Eagles.
Moussa Dembele remains suspended as Spurs look to build on the opening-day 1-1 draw at Goodison Park.
Provisional squad: Vorm, McGee, Walker, Trippier, Davies, Rose, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Vertonghen, Carter-Vickers, Dier, Wanyama, Mason, Carroll, Winks, Alli, Eriksen, Onomah, Lamela, Chadli, Njie, Son, Janssen, Kane.
