Aston Villa are reportedly preparing to launch a summer bid for Fulham striker Ross McCormack, who has a £12million buy-out clause.
McCormack joined the Cottagers from Leeds in 2014 for £11million and his 24 goals in all competitions last term helped to keep the West London club in the Championship.
Fulham finished the 2015-16 campaign in 20th place, 11 points above the relegation zone, and it is understood that McCormack now wants out.
The 29-year-old penned a new four-year deal with Fulham in February, which contained a £12million buy-out clause.
Aston Villa, who will play in the Championship next term, are hoping for an immediate return to the top-flight and, according to The Telegraph, believe McCormack can help them achieve that goal.
Norwich are also keen on trying to sign the striker as they look set to drop back to the second-tier of English football after just one term in the Premier League.
