Kane Hemmings has pledged his future to Scottish Premiership side Dundee following reports linking him with Aston Villa.
The 25-year-old Burton-born striker started his career as a youth player at Tamworth FC in the Midlands and has since had spells with Rangers, Cowdenbeath and Barnsley.
However Hemmings’ move to Dundee last summer has proved to be a success with 25 goals in all competitions so far this season which resulted in him being nominated for the Player of the Year award.
His form has also led to speculation linking him with a move to Villa as they look to rebuild their squad to compete for Championship promotion next term.
But Hemmings does not seem interested in a return south of the border any time soon.
He told the Scottish Herald: “The boys have been great with me, the gaffer has been great with me and I am scoring goals so I am happy.
“I have no real intention to seek a move anywhere. I am enjoying playing my football so there is no reason to change that.”
