VIDEO: Arsenal target Alexandre Lacazette scores his sixth goal in three games for Lyon

Arsenal may have won their first game of the season on Saturday, but there is still a sense their squad is lacking something to make them true title contenders.

Clearly Arsene Wenger feels the same way, as he is close to completing deals for defender Shkodran Mustafi and striker Lucas Perez.

Whilst Mustafi is a signing which clearly improves the Gunners squad, Perez is an unknown quantity, and Wenger has once again been linked with making a move for a big-name striker rather than relying solely on the Spaniard and Olivier Giroud.

The Frenchman is a known fan of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, having already made an offer for him this summer, and it has been reported he wants to make one final offer of £60 million for the forward before the transfer window closes next week.

And given his form in Ligue 1, it is not a surpise Wenger wants to bring Lacazette to the Emirates.

Lyon lost their first game of the season today, falling to a 4-2 defeat to Dijon, but the 25-year-old scored again – taking his tally for the season to six in just three games.

He has been in incredible form, and you can watch Lacazette’s latest strike – again of the highest quality – below…
