Chelsea are reported to be lining up a huge summer bid to bring Bayern Munich playmaker Arturo Vidal to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are planning a complete overhaul of their squad during the close season, and Italian national coach Antonio Conte is expected to be in charge of it when he replaces interim boss Guus Hiddink after Euro 2016.
Eden Hazard is expected to leave Chelsea with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain battling for his signature and Vidal is seen as the ideal replacement.
Conte knows the Chilean well from their time together at Juve when they won three Serie A titles, and a reunion could be on the cards at Stamford Bridge.
Vidal has been in and out of the side since joining Bayern and reports claim he would jump at the chance to link up with Conte at Chelsea, if, as expected, he is named the club’s new manager.
