Chelsea are reportedly set to offer £25million for German international centre-back Shkodran Mustafi and Valencia are likely to accept.
Reports from Deporte Valenciano and Fijaches claim Chelsea are willing to make the bid for the 24-year-old former Sampdoria defender.
Mustafi has been in London all week with the rest of the Valencia squad but has apparently only trained once with his team-mates.
Speculation over his future has been rife with both Arsenal and Chelsea understood to be vying for his services.
Blues boss Antonio Conte has been trying to sign a new centre-back all summer but top choice Leonardo Bonucci decided to stay at Juventus while Napoli have so far priced Kalidou Koulibaly too high.
Mustafi, who was also linked to AC Milan last week, has three years left on his contract with Los Che.
