Swansea City are in talks to sign West Ham forward Enner Valencia on loan.
The 26-year-old Ecuador international joined the Hammers from Pachuca for £12m in 2014.
He has made six appearances this season but could find his first-team chances limited by West Ham’s loan signing of Italy striker Simone Zaza.
Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has said the club could make more signings before the transfer window shuts at 23:00 BST on Wednesday night.
The Swans broke their transfer record to sign striker Borja Baston from Atletico Madrid in a deal worth £15m earlier in the summer, while Spanish international Fernando Llorente joined from Sevilla.
They have also signed defenders Alfie Mawson and Mike van der Hoorn, midfielder Leroy Fer and goalkeeper Mark Birighitti.
