West Ham are reported to have rejected a £10million bid from Italian side Lazio for winger Enner Valencia.
The player’s agent Gonzalo Vargas has already confirmed that Lazio are keen to do a deal and they have now followed up their interest by making a bid.
However reports claim it falls short of West Ham’s £13million valuation, and unless they raise their offer, the 26-year-old will remain with the Hammers.
West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is keen to keep hold of Valencia, but Vargas has already been quoted as saying his client wants to find a new club over the summer.
“He wants to play at the top, in Italy, Spain or England and the decision over his future will be determined 100 percent by sporting elements and not economic ones,” Vargas said.
However it is thought Valencia will not kick up a fuss if West Ham do not get the figure they want, and there is every chance he will still be with the Hammers next season.
