West Ham held a 45-minute celebration of Upton Park after Tuesday’s win against Manchester United

West Ham Ladies’ plans to stage a charity match at Upton Park on 5 June are in the balance, after the club opted to hold a vote to decide whether the game should go ahead.

The match would raise funds for the Ladies’ team and allow fans to see the Boleyn Ground for the last time.

But some fans believe Tuesday’s game against Manchester United should be the last at the stadium.

The Hammers are moving to the Olympic Stadium next season, after 112 years.

West Ham beat United 3-2 and then held a 45-minute celebration of Upton Park after full-time, involving fireworks and former players.

Eastenders actor Danny-Boy Hatchard, is one of those backing the Ladies’ game.
