Manchester United are believed to have been in touch with Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s representative after he revealed will be leaving PSG.
The Swede announced after Paris St Germain had clinched the Ligue 1 title at the weekend that he was very unlikely to remain in the French capital once his current contract expires this summer.
The Parisians are still hopeful they can change the 34-year-old’s mind and plan to speak to him in April to discuss a new deal.
However, Ibrahimovic has reportedly expressed a desire to play in the Premier League before hanging up his boot and French newspaper L’Equipe is claiming United have sounded out his agent, Mino Raiola, about moving to Old Trafford.
Chelsea are also said to be interested in the former AC Milan and Barcelona striker but both clubs could see their hopes scuppered should they miss out on the Champions League, a competition Ibrahimovic is keen to stay involved with.
