Here are the top transfer-related stories in Wednesday’s newspapers…

Jose Mourinho has identified Karim Benzema as a priority target for Manchester United ahead of his impending appointment as successor to the sacked Louis van Gaal as manager at Old Trafford. Benzema could be joined at United by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a free transfer target. (Independent)
