Manchester United supremo Ed Woodward missed the club’s flight to China to try to seal Paul Pogba’s world-record £100million move from Juventus. The Red Devils’ executive vice-chairman was scheduled to fly out to Shanghai on Tuesday with Jose Mourinho and his 25-man squad for the pre-season tour. Instead, he stayed behind to focus on a deal for 23-year-old Pogba which Mourinho hopes will be wrapped up by the end of the week. (Daily Mirror)

James Wilson, Tyler Blackett and Will Keane are all likely to leave Manchester United this summer as manager Jose Mourinho continues to overhaul his squad. (Daily Telegraph)

Striker Wilson is set to join Fulham in Jose Mourinho’s first departure at Manchester United. The 20-year-old will link up with Slavisa Jokanovic’s side on loan. (The Sun)

Newcastle United are interested in signing midfielder Lucas Leiva as part of the deal that takes Holland international Georginio Wijnaldum to Liverpool. Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez worked with Lucas during his time at Anfield and is a huge admirer of the Brazilian. Although Newcastle want £27m for Wijnaldum, a compromise package worth between £20-25m is likely if they get a Liverpool player in return. (Daily Telegraph)

Arsenal have been put on red alert after Moussa Sissoko revealed he is eyeing a move to a Premier League club. The French ace was part of the Newcastle squad relegated to the Championship last term and he is expected to leave this summer. (The Sun)

Manchester City have made an official approach to West Ham about signing youngster Reece Oxford. The 17-year-old central midfielder, who shot into the public eye in an impressive display against Arsenal on the opening day of last season, is understood to be valued at £15m by the Hammers.
