Gareth Bale will demand to be paid the same as Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid, with both players in the midst of negotiating new deals at the Bernabéu. The Wales international is in line for a huge increase on his net salary of £260,000 a week and expects to join Ronaldo in an elite group of global sports stars who earn £20million a year after tax, with gross weekly wages of £750,000. Wolfsburg want to take Memphis Depay from Manchester United in January. The Dutch international forward has struggled at Old Trafford since arriving from PSV Eindhoven in 2015 and Wolfsburg plan to offer him the chance to get his career back on track in Germany. (The Sun)

Chelsea are keen on 16-year-old Olympique de Marseille central defender Boubacar Kamara. The captain of the French club’s reserve team is also being watched by Borussia Dortmund and Paris St Germain. (The Sun)

Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu refused to rule out a return to former club Barcelona, claiming it is every player’s dream to play for the Catalan giants. Liverpool Academy hot-shot Ben Woodburn has agreed his first professional contract. The exciting attacker, who celebrates his 17th birthday on Saturday, will put pen to paper on a three-year deal.
