Here are the top transfer-related stories in Monday’s newspapers…


Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuain wants to leave Serie A outfit Napoli this summer and would be interested in a move to Liverpool, even though they have missed out on European qualification. (Daily Mirror)

Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke has rubbished claims that Arsenal target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who scored 39 goals in all competitions this season, is set to leave the German club. (Bild)

Jose Mourinho wants to add former Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand to his backroom team at Old Trafford. (The Sun)

Mourinho is considering a bid for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba who has informally been placed on the transfer market. (The Times)
