Here are all the top transfer-related stories in Friday’s newspapers…

Manchester City have moved a step closer to signing Claudio Bravo from Barcelona in a £17.4million deal. Barca’s capture of Ajax keeper Jasper Cillessen for £10m means they will now let Bravo move to England to become new Blues boss Pep Guardiola ’s No.1. (Daily Mirror)

And Bravo may not be Pep Guardiola’s final piece of business in this summer’s transfer window.  Another centre-back could be in Guardiola’s sights, with Juventus star Leonardo Bonucci a potential target. (Manchester Evening News)

Arsenal are still in negotiations with Valencia over Germany international centre-back Shkodran Mustafi, and the Gunners are confident of agreeing a deal before the August 31 deadline. (Daily Mirror)

Arsenal are also keen on Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez, 21, but they have been warned he will cost €65million (£56m) to prise away from the Spanish side. (Marca)

Liverpool are interested in signing 21-year-old Ajax winger Anwar El Ghazi, who netted 11 times in 27 appearances for the Dutch giants last term. (Il Tempo)

Sunderland boss David Moyes has offered Lamine Kone a stunning new £50,000-a-week contract in a bid to stop him going to Everton. (The Sun)

Tottenham have made a new move for Espanyol goalkeeper Pau Lopez. After failing with a £3million bid for the 21-year-old, Spurs have enquired about a loan move for the season, with an option to buy next summer. (London Evening Standard)

Manchester United are delighted with their transfer business so far and are not expecting further arrivals at Old Trafford before the transfer window closes. Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba have all arrived at the club this summer. (Daily Mail)

Francesco Guidolin has revealed he has targeted Serie A stars as part of Swansea City’s search to replace Ashley Williams. (WalesOnline)

West Bromwich Albion have not given up hope of signing Jeffrey Schlupp and will only move on if the player pens a new deal with Leicester City. (Birmingham  Mail)

Claudio Ranieri is confident Danny Drinkwater will become the latest star to pledge his future to Leicester. (Daily Star)
