David Beckham offered Jack Wilshere a few words of wisdom before the Arsenal midfielder’s deadline day move to Bournemouth. Former England captain Beckham rang Wilshere while the 24-year-old was deciding whether to sign with the Cherries , fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace or suitors in Italy and offered his advice and support. Manchester United are set to keep tabs on Monaco full-back Fabinho ahead of a possible January move. The Brazilian tops the list of potential winter targets after tentative enquires over a summer move for the 22-year-old were rebuffed by the Ligue 1 side. (Manchester Evening News)

Liverpool are planning to follow up their interest in targets Mahmoud Dahoud and Christian Pulisic in future transfer windows. Jurgen Klopp missed out on Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Dahoud, 20, and Borussia Dortmund winger Pulisic, 17, in the summer window. Former Liverpool and Juventus midfielder Mohamed Sissoko is set to play for West Brom in a friendly against Delhi Dynamos on Saturday. The 31-year-old, out of contract after leaving Shanghai Shenhua earlier this year, is attracting interest from a number of Premier League clubs and the Baggies could offer him a deal if he impresses in the friendly match. Mark Hughes will have the chance to make  a third move for Saido Berahino in January or next summer. The former England under-21 striker slipped through Stoke’s fingers for a second time when West Bromwich Albion stuck by their policy of keeping him until they signed a replacement. But Stoke chairman Peter Coates has not ruled out another move for Berahino. (Stoke Sentinel) 

Olivier Giroud has insisted he has “no problem” with Arsene Wenger’s decision to leave him out of the starting lineup for each of Arsenal’s opening three games and is not worried by his situation at the club despite Lucas Perez’s arrival. (London Evening Standard)
