Southampton and West Ham have been put on alert over Simone Zaza.
The striker, eyed by both Premier League sides, is to hold crunch talks with Juventus over his future.
Zaza only joined Juve from Sassuolo in 2015 but was restricted to just five Serie A starts last season, prompting rumours that he will be on the move again this summer.
West Ham and Watford tried to sign the Italian last summer but the Hornets have dropped their interest this summer, which has allowed Southampton to emerge as potential suitors.
According to Italian TV station Qui Studio A Voi Stadio, West Ham and Southampton are eagerly awaiting the outcome of Zaza’s talks with Juve and a bidding war could take place should the 24-year-old become available.
With Juve planning to make wholesale changes to their squad this summer, Zaza is expected to be told that there is no guarantee he will be given more playing time next season and that he is free to move on when the transfer window opens in July.
