Transfer report: Juventus join Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United in battle for Amadou Diawara
The 18-year-old has emerged as one of the most promising teens in European football after making 34 appearances in Serie A for Bologna last season.
It was the midfielder’s first campaign in a major league having arrived from San Marino Calcio last year and he already has a string of elite European clubs queuing up to sign him.
Chelsea, City and United are among those interested while Napoli and Valencia are also circling.
And now, according to reports in Italy, Serie A champions Juventus are ready to muscle in on the chase for Diawara and firm up their interest with a bid.
Bologna paid just £420,000 to sign him in 2015 but, with his contract not set to expire until 2020 and given the level of interest, it has been suggested that they will not sell for less than £11m.
