Roma have approached Manchester City about the possibility of signing Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta.
The Italian side are on the hunt for a new right-back this summer and sporting director Walter Sabatini is drawing up a list of targets.
Top of his shortlist, according to Il Messaggero, are City pair Sagna and Zabaleta.
The duo’s futures are under threat at the Etihad as incoming boss Pep Guardiola threatens to revamp his squad this summer.
Zabaleta has already spoken of the uncertainty surrounding his place in the team, while Sagna is another player who could be axed.
As well as interest from Roma in the pair, Inter Milan are also believed to be keen on signing one of Zabaleta or Sagna this summer.
