TRANSFER FIGHT! Tottenham face competition from Inter Milan and AC Milan to sign Lille’s Sofiane Boufal
Inter Milan and AC Milan have joined Tottenham in the race to land Lille midfielder Sofiane Boufal.
The Morocco international has netted 12 goals in 32 appearances for the Ligue 1 side this term and is now on the radar of some of Europe’s elite clubs.
According to Calciomercato, a fee of around £7.8m will be enough to persuade Lille into selling the 22-year-old, and it is understood the two Milan clubs have both held preliminary talks with the player’s representatives.
However, Tottenham have the financial muscle to better any offer made from the Milan clubs, while the guarantee of Champions League football at White Hart Lane next year could also prove to be a decisive factor in the deal.
