Grant has spent his entire career on the books of Everton after initially joining the academy in 2008 but he is yet to make an appearance for the senior side.

New boss Ronald Koeman has been keeping an eye on the versatile man during pre-season but doesn’t feel he is ready to get his opportunity in the Premier League for the Goodison Park outfit.

The Toffees believe the winger, who can also play in midfield, will develop into a top player and have allowed him to go on loan to Motherwell and Doncaster to speed up that process.

Reports claim that Ipswich are the latest club to show an interest in the 21-year-old and the deal should be completed in time for Grant to feature in the opening fixture of the Championship campaign against Barnsley on Saturday.
