Arsenal are reported to be keeping tabs on Yaya Toure’s situation at Manchester City as the midfielder heads for the exit door.
Toure still has just over 12 months to run on his contract at the Etihad Stadium, but City have not made a move to extend his deal, and a summer exit appears to be on the cards.
The imminent arrival of Pep Guardiola at City has also put another nail in Toure’s coffin at City, and the player’s agent Dimitri Seluk has confirmed they will now start talking to other clubs.
Arsenal are said to be interested as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his midfield this summer, but Toure will not be short of options, with Liverpool also keen to keep him in the Premier League.
“From this moment we start to discuss with different clubs about Yaya going there in the summer. City don’t do anything concrete,” Seluk revealed.
“Yaya has given everything for the club and we don’t feel that this situation is the right way to show how much they appreciate him.”
